Risk A rearview camera that does not display an image decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy Dealers will update the control unit software, inspect, and replace the rearview camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 23, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA3.
Applies to Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Macan Electric vehicles.

The headlights may be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, which may adversely affect the vision of drivers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Risk Headlights that are excessively bright can reduce visibility for oncoming drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy Dealers will reprogram the headlight control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARC5.
