The lap belt anchor brackets on the second row seats may have insufficient welds, which can cause bracket failure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 207, “Seating Systems” and 210, “Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages.”
Risk Seat bracket failure can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
Remedy Lucid will inspect and repair the seats or replace the seats as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2026. Owners may contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is SR-26-04-00.
