Beautifully designed car with best in class charging speeds, pretty good range & efficiency, smooth and comfortable ride, and good safety features. Reliability seems OK after 4.5 years of ownership except for ICCU failure and some failures with electronic components (front radar and instrument cluster). Would also recommend keeping a 12V battery jumper in the car.

Reliability 3.5 / 5
"Very reliable outside of ICCU flakiness and some problems with electronic components. ICCU was replaced once and no issues since then. Front radar and instrument cluster also needed replacing."
Safety 5.0 / 5
"Blind spot monitor and emergency braking function well. The weight from the battery and stable handling make this car feel safe and planted. "
Efficiency 4.5 / 5
4.3 mi/kWh
Comfort 5.0 / 5
"Soft suspension and spacious interior make this comfy, even over bumps. Suspension runs on the softer side so can feel bouncy over certain roads, but I personally prefer the softness as bumps feel less jarring. "
Practicality 5.0 / 5
"Decent cargo space, fast charging speeds, spacious interior, and high efficiency/range make this a highly practical car. "
Value 4.5 / 5

"Infotainment is mediocre, UX works and is fine. Nothing crazy here. "
Charging Speed 5.0 / 5
"Charges much faster than most EVs in the US because of 800v architecture. "

Instrument Cluster Fails
2022 SE Issue 1 affected
I have this too

The instrument cluster screen shuts off while driving and reboots continuously. It makes the booting up chiming noise every time it happens, along with occasional static noise. When the screen is off, the blind spot monitor doesn't work, and the turn signal noises don't fire (the turn signals lights on the exterior of the car still work though). This happens sporadically but seems to happen at higher temperatures.

Front Radar Failed
2022 SE Issue
I have this too

I got a warning on my instrument cluster saying that the cruise control wouldn't work, and to check the radar. Went into the service center and they said it needed replacing. It took about a 2 weeks for the part to come and get installed. It's been working fine ever since.

“Experienced ICCU failure under everyday conditions, driving home from an appointment. Car had sat in direct sun for 30 mins, and starting the car and driving away with the AC fully blasting is when the failure occurred.”

NHTSA complaint #11748510 · 2022 model year · Electrical system · Jul 2026

“The ICCU failed to charge the car via level 1 (120VAC or 240VAC), but does charge using public DC chargers. Fortunately the issue occurred at home so no traffic issue occurred, in this case. The level 1 charger indicated a fault and would not charge the car. I drove the vehicle without any issues…”
