    The pedestrian alert sound system may not produce sound at a sufficient volume. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 141, "Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles."

    Risk A vehicle that fails to make sufficient sound may result in pedestrians being unaware of an approaching vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy Dealers will update the software in the body control module (BCM), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 22, 2025. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N242483530.

    Risk A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

  • Feb 2024 Seat Belts 2024 An incorrect seat belt bezel on the second-row center seat belt may damage or tear the seat belt in the event of a crash.

    Risk A torn or damaged seat belt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    Remedy Do not allow passengers to sit in the second-row center seat until remedied. Dealers will replace the second-row center seat belt bezel, free of charge. “On Star Telematics Module is failed and on backorder and no ETA according to dealership and ONSTAR. This is a safety issue as GPS is unavailable, SOS is unavailable, Cannot Locate Vehicle if lost or stolen. The company is very slow in response and this seems to be a global known issue.”
